Safetell was approached based on the architectural conceptual drawings that were initially accepted by the client. The project required a solution that would provide protection against manual attacks, intrusion, vehicles used as weapons, and firearm attacks while maintaining an aesthetic appearance that was unobtrusive and sympathetic to the surroundings. The security system had to be fixed on top of a vaulted crypt, which posed a challenge as a foundation had to be created to support the system.
For four years Safetell have been responsible for the maintenance of over 100 automatic and manual doors within a university in North London, as well as having installed 40 of the automatic door operators. Recently, the facilities management team for the university approached Safetell with a requirement to automate some additional existing manual doors within the estate, located at the main entrance.
We have always found Safetell technically competent with a good team of engineers and always look at innovative solutions for saving money i.e. repair instead of replacing.
Safetell were able to provide a solution very quickly, having ordered the screens on Monday, they were installed in the train station by Thursday the same week, which I was very pleased with.
